Included are fixed and wireless networks integrated with existing onsite infrastructure, and associated peripheral upgrades associated with new system power and environmental requirements.
§ Shipboard Network Design and Installation
Global developed a wireless network solution for the Marine Corps’ deployable logistics software suite. This solution provides real-time asset tracking capability, utilizing 2D barcode labels, scanners, as well as RFID technologies. Installation is planned for the entire Maritime Preposition Force.
§ Deployable Network Design and Fabrication
For over six years the company has provided state of the art deployable Local Area Network capability for the Joint Warfighter. Such deployable systems have been designed and fielded in two principal configurations:
o Components Only: Used to interconnect fixed assets such as trailers or vans while deployed.
o “Live” units: Contain network operating stations, switches and servers, power generators, environmental heating and air conditioning for the operators.
These systems are mounted in military-standard ISU-90 containers, but can also be installed in virtually any Government supplied deployable container. Systems are configured in the company’s fabrication, shipping and receiving facilities, or on site at military installations. To date, these systems have been supplied to Marine Air Logistics Squadrons, and have seen service in support of operations in Kosovo, Afghanistan, and in Iraq.
Services performed in support of Naval Air Systems Command, Marine Corps Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, US Special Operations Command, NAVSEA Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, US Army Special Operations Command, among others.
