U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, VA

ATLASS is the Marine Corps’ primary maintenance and logistic management system, providing a deployable, integrated supply and maintenance information system, capable of supporting the rapid deployment and employment of Marine forces. Global designed and installed the prototype system in selected facilities at Camp Lejeune; constructed ATLASS training classrooms; integrated and tested the prototype ATLASS II+ system; and has proceeded with the design and installation of the system at USMC bases worldwide.

  • Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI)
NAVSEA, SPAWARSYSCEN San Diego, EDS, WAM!NET, Data Line

Global works as a subcontractor under EDS, WAM!NET, and Data Line Corporations in support of NMCI network upgrade endeavors, providing nationwide NMCI Engineering, Technical, and Industrial Support.

  • Non-Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS) (Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS))
U.S. Navy Space and Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), San Diego, CA

NALCOMIS is the standard maintenance and logistics information management system used by all Naval and Marine Corps aviation activities worldwide. Conforming to NTCSS architectural guidelines, Global designed, installed and integrated the prototype NALCOMIS system for Operational Maintenance Activities (OMAs) at Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia, and is currently installing it in virtually every Navy and Marine Corps air station worldwide. Additionally, Global is presently designing and installing the (optimized) NALCOMIS networks in Navy and Marine Corps Intermediate Maintenance Activities (IMAs). This effort is being accomplished in support of the Navy Space and Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN), in San Diego, California.

  • Automated Identification Technology (Wireless Networks) for Asset Tracking Logistics and Supply System, Phase II+ (ATLASS II+) U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, VA

AIT uses wireless technologies to complement existing supply, logistics, and maintenance programs. AIT will integrate software applications for use with ATLASS, as well as Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTAF) II LOG AIS software, and will be used in support of another related program, TC-AIMS. Global has been conducting site surveys, installations, and configuration of wireless Access Points into existing networks, as well as configuration of hand held scanners, and associated bar-code printers.

  • Global Deployed Network Kit for Asset Tracking Logistics and Supply System, Phase II+ (ATLASS II+)
U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, VA

Global was requested by SPAWAR to design, configure and equip rugged, weatherproof, containerized systems to support NTCSS / NALCOMIS (Non-Tactical Command Support Systems/Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information Systems) for US Marine Corps Aircraft Squadrons and Intermediate Maintenance Activities while deployed. Each weatherproof container is essentially, a self-contained Local Area Network, as it is equipped with special "ruggedized" switches, fiber optic cable, connectors, and instructions necessary to efficiently establish such NTCSS/NALCOMIS functions in the field. We completed recently completed the prototype and have started production of additional systems, in various configurations, for the Marine Corps in support of ATLASS II+, discussed in previous paragraphs.
